The verdict is in!

Today we were able to find out what the baby is. I knew that Jeremy would be in school so I got two different outfits, one a boy one and one a girl one and wrapped them up in boxes. I put a different colored bow on each so that I knew which was which. Then we would have Jeremy open which one it was after school. It took us awhile to get into the appointment and Ben even had to go and get Jeremy from school but not before he found out what we were having. So when we got home, Jeremy opened up the appropriate box and.......................
as many people predicted (I took a poll at work)
and I was also told that it's just a pattern.............................
we are having another Gerritsen boy!!

The boys are excited and Alex has been saying that he wants a baby brother so he got his wish. Jeremy really wanted a sister but he was excited to be having another boy. I think Dad is happy too. Mom, well she knows boys. So even though it would have been fun to see what having a girl is like, her boys are the cutest ever!!

Hardware Ranch

For President's Day, Ben's parents took some of the grandkids to Hardware Ranch in Logan to see the elk. The boys had a great time.

Mom & Dad's night out!

For Valentines, I booked a room at the Anniversary Inn in Logan. Since the baby will come around our birthdays and our anniversary, I knew this would be the only time I could do it. We had a great room called the Biker Roadhouse with a pool table, pinball machine, a soda pop station and even a Harley. This is the first time we have stayed at the Anniversary Inn and we really enjoyed it.

More catching up!

Just a few weeks ago, Ben and the boys went down to Salt Lake for a special ceremony that honored Ben's great-grandfather Torlief Knaphus. He was a famous sculptor for the church and he immigrated here from Norway. They are sending a mini version of the sculpture that sits on Temple Square of the pioneers to his native country of Norway.

Catching up!

It's been awhile since I blogged. Two busy boys and I have been working full time for the past few weeks because we are short a couple of people at work. So first off are some fun pictures of the boys just playing. They have gotten better at playing with each other, especially since it's hard to go outside. Alex is getting to be so funny and Jeremy is always asking deep spiritual questions that we are so proud that he's thinking about.

Then we also went down to see the parade for the Utah Utes after their big win in Florida. I am proud to say that my dad is a U of U graduate. He would be proud. So would Ben's granddad, who the players actually had his initials on their helmets. The boys had a lot of fun playing on the podium after it was over.
