summer activities

Summer is in full swing here at our house and we are trying to do as many fun things as we can without spending a lot of money.  One fun thing we did was go up to the valley and go bike riding.  We had a picnic lunch, played in the park in Huntsville and then got to visit our cousins who live up there.
In our area, in the summer, there is a fund called RAMP.  It provides the community a chance to go to different places in the summer for free.  They do it every Saturday in June, July and August.  The first Saturday we went to the Roy Aquatic center and swam.  We had never been there so it was a lot of fun.

Here is Isaac enjoying some time at the library
The second RAMP activity we went to was at Weber State University.  It was in the science buildings.  We got to build a rocket on the computer for one of the activities.

This activity we got to see how colors seperate from candies.

We also got to look at colors that different gases emit with special glasses

Alex is chillin! We also got to see a movie in their special theater and look at the sun with special glasses.
Isaac and Addy having a good time.  They are fun little buddies!

Hanging with our cousins at Grandma's

We got to go to the Barker fish farm again this year for the annual NAIFA association did belongs to.  Each family gets to catch 2 fish so Jeremy was trying to catch one.

Here's Alex and Isaac trying to catch one.  Alex ended up getting one but Isaac caught a hook in his finger and didn't want anything else to do with fishing!

We had our neighbors over for the annual burning of branches.  We roast marshmallows and have smores.

Misc. happenings of May

I heard about an old plane from World War II that was coming to Ogden airport. I saw it fly in and went over to the airport to take pictures.  They charged to go and look inside of it so I just took pictures of the outside.

The boys got to be in a bike derby for pack meeting.

Isaac loves his trike!

The boys played baseball with their uncles

We went to visit family graves and here is Jeremy and I at my parents and brother
s graves. Jeremy is named after my brother.

Hiking!!

Jeremy and I went on a hike together.  It was a lot of fun.

Jeremy brought his walking stick

The boys and I went on a second hike. Alex and Isaac came this time.

The boys enjoyed exploring the rocks.

Jeremy basketball camp

Jeremy went to a basketball camp at the local high school.  He got to practice and learn from the boys basketball coach and his players.

Jeremy baseball tournament

The last day of school, we traveled down to Utah county to a baseball tournament that Jeremy's team was in.
The trip down wore Isaac out

We were driving through Provo and came upon the Provo Tabernacle that is being renovated

The temple is on risers.  It was really cool to see.

This is what it will look like all done.

It was a neat thing for the boys to see

The boys got to swim in the pool at the motel

We stopped at a haircutting place in Orem called Sportsclips and they had BYU tatto's

Alex getting a haircut.  It's not his favorite thing to do.

We went over to BYU's campus to see the sports museum

They had a display of all the NFL teams.  Jeremy is pointing to his favorite, the New York Jets.

Isaac got to ride on a trike at one of the games.  He thought he was pretty cool!

This is what we came for.  Jeremy batted really well!

Field day at school

The boys school had an end of the year field day at their school.  Isaac and I went over for the last part of it and Isaac tried the slide.

Jeremy and Isaac went into the boxing ring!

The third grade also did a talent show.  Jeremy chose to play the piano because he missed his piano recital.  He did really well.
