This weekend, especially Saturday, has been a busy but fun one for the kids. I started bright and early with a yard sale. My first on my own. Last year I stuck some stuff with our neighbor. Not much sold so the majority of the stuff went to Deseret Industries.
Alex has been suffereing from a croopy cough and Ben thought it would be a good idea to try Jeremy's breathing machine.
Alex was excited because he sees Jeremy do it every night.
Jeremy had a birthday party at his friend's. It was an Army theme and he had to wear camouflage. The kids also got their faces painted in camouflage. An Army recruiter came and gave them all a bag of US Army stuff. Jeremy wanted to put his stickers all over the house.
Then it was off to the Elders Quorum where both boys played and played and didn't have much interest in their food! Then we ended the night at Ben's cousin's house for a graduation/housewarming party.
Jeremy had a ball with his cousins Hunter and Chloe, who he stayed with a couple of weeks ago when Mom and Dad went out of town. Jeremy got a new bike from the neighbor and loved riding it with Hunter. I get all of the outside toys and bikes from neighbors and yard sales.
It's great! Slightly used but who cares!
Chloe and her girlfriends loved Alex too.
Alex got to dress up in his favorite character, Elmo.
Then the last picture is of Alex in a sweater that
our wonderful friend Nancy Bennett sent from England.
She loves to knit and sent us this one for Alex's birthday
