Alex is 7!!!

Alex turned 7 today.

I took cookies to him at school (picture coming soon. He wouldn't let me take one but his teacher did and she has to email it to me),
we went to scouts after school and the boys sang to him (he was so embarrased!)
we had his favorite food, pizza

Alex's art birthday party

Alex had a birthday party this past Saturday.  He wanted to have an art party.  Alex loves to draw and we were able to display some of his artwork for his friends to see.

We also played pin the moustache on Mario (from last year's party)
, played soccer, tried to play some outside games and the boys made birthday cards for Alex
.  We finished off with lots of presents
 and cupcakes and ice cream!

Alex's singing program

Alex's 1st grade class had a singing program that they put on for parents and students.  The theme was hats. All the songs and dialogue was about hats.  Alex wore his new U of U hat he got for his birthday.  He didn't want to be photographed so I don't really have good pictures of him.  He also didn't want to sing and stood up there and didn't move his mouth to sing! But it was a cute program.  He had a small speaking part that he did say but he did it so fast you couldn't understand him.  But we are proud of him anyway!

Isaac's baby

Isaac got a stuffed animal when he was born from his cousins.  I am not sure what kind of animal it is but we call it baby.  Baby is like a security blanket.  Isaac has to have it to go to bed and he often brings it upstairs.  Baby has gone to school with him, church, for a ride on Isaac's motorcycle (trike) and various other places.  He recently has started to fall apart and I have had to sew him. Baby sure is glad that Isaac is there to take care of him! Hopefully he will be able to last a little while longer!

General Conference

We had a nice conference weekend.  We spent Sunday up at Grandma and Grandpa's.  It was fun to be with cousins and family.
The boys also had fun being outside

Jazz game

Uncle Paul has been able to get tickets this season to the Jazz games. He shared some of them with our family the other night.  Alex got sick right before so I stayed home with him and Ben took Jeremy and Isaac. They had lots of fun and even got to see the inside of a suite. The pictures aren't the best but the boys had fun!

Alex's spring party

Alex's 1st grade had a spring party.  I was asked to head it up so I arranged for all the activities and the treat.  I think the kids had great fun.

finding Easter egg treats and hearing stories

Easter

We had a fun Easter this year.  Isaac was able to have a fun spring party at his preschool and brought home some fun things he wanted to show off!
We colored eggs and had lots of fun!

We started off on Saturday attending the Easter egg hunt that North Ogden puts on.  The kids were told to only get one egg each but that was hard for the older kids to do!
Jeremy and Alex were able to go with their Uncle Steve to a professional baseball game held at the Salt Lake Bees stadium.  Steve didn't get any pictures though! Isaac and I got to go to Lee's grocery to an egg hunt.
Dad spent the day home sick and wasn't feeling well the next day either but that didn't stop the Easter celebration. The Easter bunny left some fun treats Easter morning.

The boys wore their Easter outfits to church (so handsome if I do say so myself!).
After church, we had our Easter egg hunt

We wanted to get some nice Easter day shots and we went to Brigham intending to go to the Brigham temple but all three boys fell asleep.  So Ben and I drove clear through Brigham all the way to Fielding, which is past Tremonton.  Then we headed back and stopped at my sister's and her family was there.  It was fun to spend some time there.

We finally went to the temple grounds and got some pictures
