pack meeting

I have been called to be Jeremy's wolf leader in cub scouts.  We had a den meeting at our house and planted seeds.  My co-leader Jenea is pictured here with her son Mason. It has been a lot of fun!

Post office at Alex's school and sledding at North Ogden Junior High

I am able to volunteer in Alex's class once a month and today they did post office and Alex 'cancelled' the stamps on the letters his classmates were  mailing

We also took advantage of a big snowstorm and went sledding.  This is the first time that Isaac had ever done this and the other two boys had got sleds for Christmas.  It was a lot of fun!

Various Christmas activities

I attempted to make sugar cookies for the neighbors for Christmas.  It was more work than I thought it would be but I hope the kids had fun.

We also had the annual Dinsdale Christmas party.  I was in charge of it and I think it went pretty well. We had Santa come (Alex was convinced it was Uncle Bruce :) ) and we had a darling little nativity retelling by my Uncle Gary and all the young grandkids (I need to get a picture! It was so cute!

We also went down to Temple Square to see the lights

We even attempted to make a gingerbread house and invited the neighbor and her little boy over.  The house didn't stay together!

Alex's class party, Thanksgiving and the Annual Christmas day parade

Alex playing Bingo.  The mom who brought the  candies for the games brought Reese's peanut butter  pieces and Alex didn't know what they were and ate them and had an allergic reaction.  Luckily the office had some Benadryl.  Poor Alex was itching and miserable and the mom felt terrible!

Alex pre-reaction!

I was in charge of an activity and we made noodle necklaces

The kids made turkeys out of apples and candy

Listening to the story

For Thanksgiving this year, we went to Ben's family.  We went to the church and Grandma James, Ben's parents, Greg and Kelly and their kids, Uncle Steve and us all came.  It was a nice time

We also went to the annual after Thanksgiving Christmas parade in Ogden.  It was kind of a fluke that we went.  We were driving back from somewhere and saw all these cars and decided to see what it was all about and luckily we had some warm clothes for the kids.

Alex had his first party at school and I was able to go and help out.  The pictures are from my cell phone and it doesn't take great ones.
