Teacher gifts

The boys have had wonderful teachers this year and I wanted to show my appreciation, as well as the boys.  So I have pinned a TON of ideas on Pinterest and narrowed them down to the ones I made.
This is for Jeremy's teacher, Mrs. Powell.  This poem is about her being a Magnificent and Marvelous teacher, which she surely is!

Filled with all kinds of teacher essentials

The outside

For Alex's teacher, Mrs. Judkins.  It says 'Thanks for helping me grow this year'.  It's a pencil for the stake to keep it in the pot.

This is for the helper to Mrs. Judkins.

Sunday walk

Last Sunday, we went on a walk above the hills of North Ogden.  They boys loved it and wanted to hike the rocks.  We also met up with people watching the eclipse.  We had no idea about it and it was fun to see the sun with the various glasses people let us look through.

Fun with the boys

Isaac found the old Johnny Jump Up and had lots of fun in it

He and Alex doing activities on the Friend website
Isaac found a skateboard one Sunday and wanted to take it to church.  He even took it to nursery.  Here he is in the parking lot of the church

We also went to Sports Authority to look at bats and Isaac wanted to try on all the equipment.  So did the other boys.

Isaac also loves to play next door and the boys there love to turn on the hose and make a big mud hole.  Isaac got in it and Dad had to clean him up

Alex decided one day that his hair was getting too long.  We found him in the bathroom standing on the sick with some noticeable hair in the sink. Here he is before Dad helped to even it out.

Field trip with the scouts

For a recent scout activity we went to the local fire station.  It was fun and informative.

Learning all about fires and what to do with them.

Our instructor for the hour!

Future firefighters!

All geared up to fight a fire!

Various school activites

Alex's Kindergarten class went to the Treehouse and I got to go with him.  I was in charge of him and two of his friends, Kelton and Preston

The kids made wands.

The kids did a play.  Alex was one of the three bears.

Jeremy's class did a Poetry through the year program.  The kids memorized poems from all the months they were in school!

The PTA did a walkathon for the school.  The kids walked around and around and received prizes for how many laps they did. There was also dinner served and a silent auction with all kinds of different prizes.

Alex's class did a program also with songs they learned from all the months of the year.  He had a speaking part for the month of December. Here he is with his teacher.

Jeremy received an award from his teacher for being excellent in art, math and reading.  He also got the award for the quietest kid in class.  This really surprised Jeremy but it makes a mom proud!

The boys also both got an award from their PE teacher for doing their personal best.
