Spring break/Las Vegas & St. George

For spring break, we went down to Las Vegas and then St. George.  We had a hotel voucher that we have had for a year now and decided it would be good to use it.  So we spent 2 days in Las Vegas and two days in St. George

On the way to Las Vegas, Jeremy spotted the Payson temple being built.  We stopped to see it.

We ate at a pizza place near our hotel.  The pizza was almost as big as Isaac!

Too cool for school!

Cheese!!

There were swans named Elvis & Priscilla at our hotel

We went to the Titanic exhibit at the Luxor

we went into a hat store and Isaac became Explorer Isaac!

This is our fierce raccoon (or whatever the hat is!)

Jeremy really wanted to see the New York New York hotel

There were lots of characters standing around hoping for donations if you got your picture with them.  We didn't have money but posed with them anyway!

Here are the boys at the M & M store

Isaac & Alex at the 3D movie inside of the M & M store

We got souvenirs at the Grand Canyon experience & Alex was so happy to see a big rock collection.  Isaac on the other hand wondered what was he going to get!

The Bellagio fountains

My mission president and his wife, President and Sister Ballard, live in North Las Vegas so we went to visit them.  We had a great visit and the boys loved them!

This was a statue in the lobby of our hotel

We saw this sign as we were heading out of Las Vegas

This is my niece Jessica's new baby Ashleigh.  We visited them in St. George.  The boys loved to hold her (and so did I)

Ryan took the boys and his son Zach behind their house and let them ride bikes and his little putter motor bike.  The boys loved it!

Here we are swimming at our hotel in St. George with Jessica's kids Audrey & Zach.

Here's Jessica's husband Ryan with the kids

On our way out of St. George, we went and had dinner with Ben's Aunt Nancy, Uncle Dick & his wife Betty, cousins Jason James and his wife and her kids, John & Janice Gerritsen and their son Tyler and his family who were also all in St. George for the weekend.  It was a lot of fun to see everyone.  Nancy, Dick & Betty & Jason all live in St. George.  We then stopped at a canyon by their house called Snow Canyon.  The boys had fun with the sand and climbing on rocks.
