July was a busy month!

July was a busy month.  The boys kept us busy playing with their friends and doing different activities. Alex was busy losing teeth! He lost about 5 in about a week's period.  He hadn't lost any teeth since before kindergarten then 5 all came loose about the same time.  We started things off by pulling two out in the same day, one at the swimming pool.  One we even pulled out during sacrament meeting!  The tooth fairy was quite busy and one night she forgot so she left double the money because she felt bad!

Alex also learned to ride his bike this month! We have talked about how when school starts, it would be nice for him and and Jeremy to ride their bikes there.  So we spent an evening over at the church and he got it!  His friend Jacob also came over one night and I taught him to ride too! Now they all ride their bikes to school!
We also lost our hamster in the month of July.  He hasn't been moving much as of late and one day I noticed that his eyes were all pussy and swollen shut.  So I started to treat him with cleaning them out and putting these eye drops in.  I did this for about 3 days and on the third day, I had already cleaned his eyes out once and when I did it the second time, I took him and put him in his cage.  He seemed to really not be doing good and seemed to be having a hard time breathing. I went to check on him and he wasn't moving.  It was so sad because we lost our bunny a few months ago and we are convinced that he's dead because he had this tumor that was growing on his neck that he'd had before and it grew back.  So we had a burial for Golden Luke at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

The boys took swimming lessons again at North Shore.  Isaac loved it this year and wanted to play and play. Alex did really well in his first official class.  Jeremy also did really well and loves to get on the diving board.

Jeremy participated in a football camp that was held at the University of Utah campus.  A bunch of NFL players that are former Utes and some from BYU put it on for young boys clear up to high school.  Jeremy had a good time learning all the drills that players do.

Jeremy also made his own Titanic after he saw the one those boys made and floated in the river.  We got a cardboard bike box from a local bike shop and some other cardboard and he spent all afternoon one day in our garage making it.  We are really proud of him! We then took it for a test run at Green Acres park and there was a birthday party going on at the same time and the people there were very impressed with it.
