summer activities

Summer is in full swing here at our house and we are trying to do as many fun things as we can without spending a lot of money.  One fun thing we did was go up to the valley and go bike riding.  We had a picnic lunch, played in the park in Huntsville and then got to visit our cousins who live up there.
In our area, in the summer, there is a fund called RAMP.  It provides the community a chance to go to different places in the summer for free.  They do it every Saturday in June, July and August.  The first Saturday we went to the Roy Aquatic center and swam.  We had never been there so it was a lot of fun.

Here is Isaac enjoying some time at the library
The second RAMP activity we went to was at Weber State University.  It was in the science buildings.  We got to build a rocket on the computer for one of the activities.

This activity we got to see how colors seperate from candies.

We also got to look at colors that different gases emit with special glasses

Alex is chillin! We also got to see a movie in their special theater and look at the sun with special glasses.
Isaac and Addy having a good time.  They are fun little buddies!

Hanging with our cousins at Grandma's

We got to go to the Barker fish farm again this year for the annual NAIFA association did belongs to.  Each family gets to catch 2 fish so Jeremy was trying to catch one.

Here's Alex and Isaac trying to catch one.  Alex ended up getting one but Isaac caught a hook in his finger and didn't want anything else to do with fishing!

We had our neighbors over for the annual burning of branches.  We roast marshmallows and have smores.
